How to Use Your Essential Oils

Hello Beautiful! Did you receive essential oils for Christmas this year, but are unsure of all the different uses for them? That’s where I can help! There are so many wonderful uses for your oils and I want to make sure you get the most out of them.

With a Diffuser

An essential oil diffuser allows you to dispense the oils into the air. There are many different types of diffusers and no type is better than the other. It depends on your budget and your preferences. You can find a couple of great options at Target

On your Skin

You can also use your oils to up your skincare game. Blend a few drops of your favorite scented oil with your daily body moisturizer, add to a carrier oil and apply or use your oils to massage and moisturize your feet or other highly stressed and impacted areas of your body.

Breathe Them In

Simply unscrew the top from your essential oil and inhale the fragrance. The scents can be inhaled for different purposes.

  • Peppermint & Eucalyptus: to help clear the sinuses

  • Lavender: to calm and soothe

  • Orange & Lemon: to energize

Use in the Shower or Bath

Add them to your bath, the corners of your shower, or your shower gels like shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. Depending on what you want out of your shower, you will use a different scent.

  • Peppermint & Eucalyptus: to help clear the sinuses

  • Lavender: to calm and soothe

  • Orange & Lemon: to energize

In Your Car

Energize yourself on your morning commute by adding a few drops of orange essential oil to a few cotton balls and storing them in your car overnight. Additionally, you can add a few drops of peppermint oil to cotton balls to keep in your car during the day. This will keep you awake and clear-minded on your way home.

There are so many different uses for your essential oils. They truly do have the power to improve your mood, relax you, and clear your mind. What you want to accomplish with your oils will depend on the method and the scent you choose. Below are some combinations I use:

  1. If I want to feel energized… I take my orange essential oil and mix it with my daily moisturizer. Massaging slowly into my skin, I think about my daily affirmations and BOOM! I’m energized. Just a drop or two will do.

  2. If I want to wind down… I draw myself a bath and add a few drops of lavender essential oil to the water along with a neutral bath bomb or epsom salt. What an amazing way to wind down at the end of my day.

  3. If I want to clear my mind… I will grab my diffuser and add a few drops of peppermint essential oil to it. I will turn on my favorite headspace meditation and take a few moments for myself.

I hope this Part 2 guide to essential oils helped you decide how you want to use yours. I enjoy essential oils so much, I made my own collection, so if you haven’t grabbed a set for yourself yet, now is a great time because they’re on sale.

GET MY ESSENTIAL OIL SET!

XOXO,

Tana Marie

Light Therapy Skincare

Hello Beautiful! With all the new skincare trends of 2021 flooding in, I am really excited about light therapy facials and skincare! New to skincare or light therapy? No worries! This is your guide to getting started.

What is Light Therapy Skincare?

Light Therapy is a skincare treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light, including red and blue, to obtain therapeutic benefits. LED is an effective modality to promote the healing of skin wounds. It takes less time than a traditional facial and it has proven to be effective at accomplishing results to your skincare goals.

Light Therapy by Tana Marie Skincare

One of my favorite facials to give is the Celluma LED Light Therapy Facial. This facial will rejuvenate skin by increasing collagen and elastin production (red light). It treats all grades of acne, including P. acnes bacteria, decreasing inflammation, and increasing microcirculation (blue light). Using blue, red, and near-infrared LED light simultaneously or alone can deliver powerful results. All treatments come with a double cleansing (extractions when indicated), a treatment serum, and a moisturizer applicable to your skin type.

Light Therapy is great for so many reasons:

  • Increasing collagen and tissues

  • Less downtime

  • Less expensive

  • Reduce damage from acne and wrinkles

  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines

  • Gives you a healthy glow

Clay in Skincare

Hello Beautiful! Do you remember how good your skin feels when you put on a mud or clay mask and relax for the evening? There’s a reason for that. Clay is one of the most powerful, yet underrated skincare products out there and I’m going to tell you why.

Clay has been recognized to promote healing and is heavily used in the cosmetics industry. Using clay regularly can benefit your skin for both therapeutic and medicinal purposes. Let’s talk about it!

How Clay is Formed

Clay is a soft, loose, earthy material containing small particles. Weathering and erosion of rocks are what forms clay over time. Rocks containing the mineral group feldspar get broken down by water and wind and when they settle, they form clay.

A mineral is a naturally occurring crystalline material that has a specific or limited range of chemical compositions, but clay minerals have a sheet-like structure.

Types of Clay

  • Bentonite clay: This type of clay comes from volcanic ash that has been combined with water. It is a gray or gray/cream color that draws out toxins and has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. Referred to as the “healing clay,” it is absorbent and great for oily skin.

  • Kaolin clay: This clay gets its name from the mineral kaolinite, which is found in tropical rainforest areas. This is a fine-grained clay and ranges in color from white, pink, or green depending on the minerals found in it. The clay yields benefits for dry to normal skin. It can enhance the tone and clarity of your skin.

  • Green clay: This type of clay is composed of decomposed plants and iron oxides and because of its stronger absorption, it’s perfect for oily skins. The anti-aging properties of this clay come from its great absorbability.

  • Zeolite clay: This clay is formed from volcanic rocks that react with alkaline. It is a good treatment for oily skin.

  • Dead sea clay: You probably see this type of clay a lot in different mud masks. It is a fine-textured clay that is known for its healing properties. It’s also mixed with many different types of clays to become even more powerful.

The minerals found in these clays can pull out toxins and reduce impurities in your skin. Clays will replenish the hydration in your skin. You can incorporate clay into your skincare routine by using a mud or clay mask 1-3 times per week.

Using clay as part of your skincare routine will improve your skin’s texture, tone, and hydration. Schedule a consultation with me if you would like to talk more about products that are better for your skin.

XOXO,

Tana Marie

Plant-Based Skincare

Hello Beautiful! I’m sure you’ve seen this trend pop up in your Instagram feed, but I wanted to give you some more in-depth knowledge on the topic. Below, we will discuss what plant-based skincare is, what kinds of products are useful, and how you can incorporate them into your skincare routine.

What is Plant-Based Skincare?

Plant-based skincare includes products that are naturally full of essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that support luscious hair, glowing skin, and stronger nails. Plant-based skincare products are only made from plant ingredients, such as fruits, vegetables, herbs, seeds, whole grains, legumes, and nuts.

Plant-based skincare products are a growing trend this year because they’re ultra-gentle and have a reputation for being less toxic with many nourishing benefits. Not only do they offer benefits to your hair, skin, and nails, but they have many environmental benefits as well.

Benefits of Plant-Based Skincare

  • They’re better for your skin. Many beauty products on the market today claim to have great benefits for your skin when in reality, you can’t even pronounce most of the ingredients on the label. Plant-based skincare is easy to read, understand, and guarantees benefits.

  • They’re more earth-friendly. Many of our drug-store products make their way into rivers and streams that have been linked with the detriment of many eco-systems. When you use natural plant-based products, you are ensuring that your body is protected and the earth is too.

  • They’re healthier overall for your skin. Your skin is the largest organ on your body and we certainly put it through a lot. As you know, your skin soaks products in like a sponge. Why wouldn’t you want your skin soaking in more natural, ethically-sourced ingredients?

Plant-Based Skincare Products

  • Biossance. Toxin-free skincare with naturally-derived products. Even the packaging is eco-friendly. Prices range from $10-72 and you can incorporate these products into your everyday skincare routine. From cleansers to serums, Biossance has enough plant-based skincare products to overtake your entire routine.

  • Tana Marie Skincare. Yep! We carry plant-based, natural products too. Our newest addition is our 2020 Collection of essential oils. This six-pack of oils provides many benefits you can read about here. Shop Now!

  • bioClarity. An all-natural, toxin-free, paraben-free, and sulfate-free skincare brand with eco-friendly packaging. This brand is vegan and cruelty-free with a price range from $20-70. This brand also helps control blemishes, tone, and texture. Incorporate it into any part of your skincare routine.

Plant-based skincare is no longer a foreign term. It’s something we can all learn from and begin to use in our routines. I hope you enjoyed learning about it as I have.

XOXO,

Tana Marie

My Signature Facelift Peel

Hello Beautiful! The Signature Facelift Peel is one of my most beneficial peels, so I thought I would highlight those benefits for you. Keep reading to learn more.

Description

Our signature results-driven treatment combines vitamin C, hydroxy acids, and enzymes to speed up cellular renewal. The new technology of centella stem cells supports redness prone skin and botanical detoxifying and energizing complexes give noticeable results in just one session.

Skin Type

The signature facelift peel is for redness or dry/dehydrated skin.

Benefits

Vitamin C and fruit enzymes blended in aloe vera base with anti-inflammatory botanicals to reduce redness. Hyaluronic acid adds moisture to dry/dehydrated skin. Gently exfoliates while infusing the skin with potent antioxidants.

The signature facelift peel combines enzymes with hydroxy acids and is gentle yet effective. Last month, I wrote an article about the benefits of enzyme peels. Let’s chat about how beneficial enzyme peels are combined with Alpha Hydroxy acids.

The Myth

One of the best things about my signature facelift peel is that your skin doesn’t actually peel. By its very nature, a peel will make your skin peel, but that doesn’t always have to be the case to achieve glowy moisturized skin. Here’s how it happens: the hydroxy acid dissolves the top layer of the dermis, removing thousands of skin cells at a time. Once the peel is removed, so are the dead skin cells, thus eliminating the peeling of your skin.

If you would like to read more benefits about hydroxy acid peels, this article from Allure explains with in-depth research.

Ingredients

Organic aloe vera gel base, Vitamin C Fruit enzyme blend Hyaluronic acid, Centella stems GX™ (centella asiatica stems), Botanica blend - coffee and peppermint, Essential oil blend eucalyptus and ylang ylang, Luminescine, Seashine (undaria pinnatifida extract), Bearberry, Licorice, Mulberry, Mallow extract, Alchemilla vulgaris (lady’s mantle), Arnica montana, Camelia Sinesis (green tea), Comfrey, Blackberry

If you’re convinced that this is the peel for you, let’s book an appointment to give you gorgeous skin.

XOXO,

Tana Marie

What are Enzyme Peels?

Hello Beautiful! You’ve heard about them, you might even have experienced them, but you’re still curious either what it is or the benefits of an enzyme peel. Allow me to explain. We will also chat about the fun advantages of enzyme peels over chemical peels.

Enzymes, a Quick Summary

Have you ever eaten pineapple and felt a little tingle on your tongue? Those would be enzymes and believe it or not, we can use them in facials to attain amazing results.

Enzymes are naturally derived active ingredients found in many fruits. Pomegranate, Pumpkin, Papaya, Pineapple, and Figs are a few examples. They act fast to dissolve dead skin to reveal smoother, healthier skin. They’re potent, but non-abrasive exfoliants for all skin types.

Enzyme peels exfoliate your skin by removing dead skin cells. Other benefits include anti-aging, clear skin, minimized pores, and clearing acne scars.

Enzyme Peel vs. Chemical Peel

While both types of peels yield benefits for your gorgeous skin, there are certain skin types that would benefit more from an enzyme peel.

  1. Sensitive or easily-irritated skin. Like I said before, enzyme peels work hard to exfoliate your skin and remove dead skin cells much like chemical peels. The wonderful difference is that enzyme peels, because of their nature, won’t irritate your skin like chemical peels sometimes can. The purpose of a peel is to exfoliate and prepare your skin to soak in the necessary moisture it needs to be glowy and soft. Enzyme peels do just that, and they’re all-natural.

  2. Pregnant or breastfeeding women. When you’re pregnant, you would do anything to protect your baby and there are so many things to be vigilant of. One way you can protect your skin and your baby is to opt for an enzyme peel instead. Always be sure to speak with your doctor first.

  3. Those with weaker immunity. Anyone who has a history of a weak immune system or recently discovered their immune system is compromised should receive an enzyme peel because the natural products in the peel do not contain harmful ingredients. Always be sure to speak with your doctor first.

An Enzyme Peel is the Peel for Me

Fabulous! Allow me to suggest one of my most famous and effective enzyme peels, the Organic Ormedic Lift Peel. It’s a gentle peel that is good for all skin types to gently exfoliate your skin.

Description

A blend of pumpkin, pineapple, papaya, and mango fruit enzymes and peptides in an organic aloe vera gel base. This non-chemical peel rebalances, regenerates and restores skin while comfrey plant-derived stem cell technology recharges your skin’s stem cells helping to maintain youthfulness.

Skin Type

Unbalanced, irritated, sensitive, and dull-looking skin.

Benefits

Organic aloe vera is the delivery system with a pumpkin pulp exfoliator. Polypeptides provide maximum rejuvenation and hyaluronic acid adds moisture.

Ingredients

Organic aloe vera gel base, Pumpkin pulp, Passion fruit Papaya Pineapple Polypeptides, PhytoCellTec™ Symphytum - comfrey (Symphytum) roots, Botanical blend - coffee and peppermint, Essential oil blend eucalyptus and ylang-ylang, Luminescine, Seashine (undaria pinnatifida extract), Bearberry, Licorice, Mulberry. Mallow extract. Alchemilla Vulgaris (lady’s mantle), Arnica montana, Camelia Sinesis (green tea), Comfrey, Blackberry.

Refrigerated Skincare

Hello Beautiful!

Okay, so you’re seeing lots of new products on the market that promise tighter skin when refrigerated and all these mini skincare fridges. Well, I’m here to help! Let’s learn about refrigerated beauty together and discuss some products that might work well for you.

What is Refrigerated Skincare?

Glad you asked! Refrigerated Skincare is just a little term I use to group together all the products that can benefit your skin more when they’re kept cool, like in a refrigerator for instance.

Skincare products that have been cooled can benefit you by constricting blood vessels, creating a firmer, tighter appearance. For example, you could reduce under eye-bags and puffiness in the morning with a chilled eye cream or tighten your skin with a chilled facial mask.

What Products are Best for Me?

Let’s chat about different products that have hidden benefits revealed once chilled. Eye creams and serums, face mists like setting sprays or rose water, jade and crystal rollers, vitamin C creams, toners, sheet masks, or aloe gel can all have great effects on your skin once chilled. They feel great and do great things for your glow.

  • Eye creams and serums. Chilled eye creams and serums are your new best friend in the morning. By simply refrigerating these products, you can tell puffy and tired eyes to begone! It’s certainly a wake-up call to put cold cream under your eyes first thing in the morning.

  • Facial masks. Sheet and clay masks that are chilled still hold the benefits they promise on the bottle, but they also now can calm inflammation and redness.

  • Facial mists. Facial mists like setting spray or rose water are lightweight and hold tons of benefits once chilled. Just stow in the fridge and spray away for soothed skin.

  • Vitamin C. This magical vitamin boosts radiance like no other and is different from all the aforementioned products because it must be stored in the fridge to ensure long life and all the benefits promised on the bottle.

  • Jade and crystal rollers. Awaken your skin and your circulation by chilling your facial rollers and stones. Sculpt and define your features with a chilled tool. Unsure if facial tools like jade rollers are right for you? Read my blog about jade rollers and their benefits here

I hope this helps to break down why everyone is putting their skincare products in the fridge. Some who are really passionate about skincare have even bought a little fridge, specifically to store their skincare products. You don’t need to go that far, but I bet you’ll be re-evaluating your storage situation after reading this.

XOXO,

Tana Marie

DIY Sugar Scrubs

Skincare doesn’t stop at your decollete. In fact, your skin is the largest organ on your body and while it’s nice to do a DIY face mask every once in a while, it’s important to exfoliate your entire body and one of the best ways to do that is a sugar scrub.

Sugar scrubs can be a wonderful and relaxing addition to your shower routine, but good ones can get expensive at the beauty store. That’s why I’ve put together a list of some of my favorite scented sugar scrubs and how to make them yourself with ingredients you probably have in your cupboard!

Oatmeal Brown Sugar Scrub

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup olive oil

  • ¼ cup rolled oats, finely ground

Directions: First, grind the oatmeal in your blender or food processor until it’s a fine powder. Next, combine the ground oatmeal, brown sugar, and olive oil in a bowl. Stir well. Store in a mason jar or airtight container. This way, the scrub will keep for about 3 months, but let’s be honest, it’s going to smell so yummy that you’re going to use it every time you shower.

Cucumber Mint Sugar Scrub

  • ¼ cucumber, unpeeled (about 4 slices)

  • ¾ cup granulated white sugar

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, softened

  • 8-10 drops peppermint essential oil

Directions: Puree the cucumber until soft and skin is in tiny flecks throughout. Mix in the sugar and coconut oil. Blend until oil is absorbed. Next, stir in peppermint oil and store it in an airtight container. Because this scrub contains fresh cucumber, it’s best to store in the fridge and transfer a scoop to a small bowl when you plan to use it.

Vanilla Orange Sugar Scrub

  • ¾ cup granulated white sugar

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 5-7 drops orange essential oil

Directions: First mix the sugar and coconut oil in a bowl. Add in the orange essential oil and vanilla extract. Continue to mix and blend until the sugar scrub is the desired consistency. Store in a mason jar or airtight container.

Foaming Sugar & Coffee Scrub

  • ¾ cup granulated white sugar

  • 2 tbsp your favorite body wash

  • 1 tbsp ground coffee

Directions: Measure and mix the sugar and body wash together. The mixture should be thick, but if it’s not, add more sugar. Mix in coffee grounds. Store in an airtight container or mason jar.

How to Use

You can use your fresh sugar scrubs however you want, but the best way to use them is in the shower on wet skin. This sugar scrub should be one of the last steps in your shower routine as you want to allow the warm water to soften your skin before exfoliating. Using the small amount of sugar scrub in your palm, gently massage into your arms, legs, torso, shoulders, back, feet, and hands. Rinse off with warm water and reveal your beautifully cleansed, silky smooth skin. Yay!

I hope you enjoy these recipes and if you try them, tag me on Facebook or Instagram. I love seeing your beautiful faces!

XOXO,

Tana Marie

Jade Rollers: What Are They Good For?

Jade rollers are all over Instagram. These photogenic facial tools are somewhat of a myth to most, but they hold many useful benefits, besides being beautiful in pictures.

Your jade roller doesn’t have to collect dust on your vanity. Instead, use it to extract these benefits for your beautiful skin:

  1. Use it to moisturize. Yep. You heard me right. If your face costs more than your outfit, you feel us here. So much of your skincare products get wasted on your hands and in your nails. Waste no more! Dot your product on your skin and use your jade roller to roll it into your skin for 20 seconds. Your skin will absorb the product and you can use less because your hands don’t absorb the majority of it.

  2. Rid your body of toxins. Just like a good massage, massaging your face with a jade roller will drain the toxins from your body. Roll the jade roller across your cheeks, chin, and forehead. By doing this, you’re opening up pathways and improving lymphatic flow. This reduces puffiness and inflation, especially around your eyes. As you roll, apply light pressure and start on the décolleté and neck to open up pathways and create flow for effective drainage.

  3. Soothe your skin. You can use the naturally cool crystal to soothe your skin. The cool jade roller can soothe rosacea and puffy eyes. The gentle pressure from the crystal will leave your facial muscles feeling more relaxed.

  4. Destress after a long day (or night). Any massage is relaxing, but a facial massage is known to be a stress reliever. Making jade rolling a part of your daily ritual can relieve tension in your facial muscles and can count as your self-care for the day.

  5. Know that you’re taking care of your skin, naturally. A jade facial roller is free from chemicals and additives, so if chemical-free is something important to you in your skincare routine, then jade rollers are the perfect addition to your skincare routine. Because most jade rollers are free of synthetic fragrances, dyes, sulfates, parabens, and mineral oil, it’s safe to use on any skin type.

Jade rollers hold a significant benefit to your skin and can help you feel more relaxed throughout the day. An added benefit of saving more of your skincare products to keep for your face and not your hands is one of the best parts! Below are a few different jade rollers that fit any type of budget and cater to any type of skin.

  1. Herbivore Jade Facial RollersTheir new Jade Rollers are crafted with improved hardware and higher quality ethically-mined stones to withstand the tests of time and use. The new Jade Rollers improve circulation and vitality, helping to freshen your complexion and luminosity. Each Jade Facial Roller will vary slightly in color and shape since each is made from genuine stone and each stone is unique | $30

  2. Kaesthetics Studio Jade RollerJade roller includes a large rolling stone for larger areas of the face like forehead or cheeks and a smaller rolling stone for small areas of the face such as nose or eyes. Each product gets a hand-written note and each jade roller is handmade with naturally sourced jade from northeast China | $19

  3. PURPLE WHALE 100% Natural Grade A Jade RollerInvigorate, calm and awaken your skin with the help of this 1-Piece Grade A Jade Skin Roller Anti-aging Beauty Tool. A natural alternative to Botox, it helps keep your skin supple, reduce the look of wrinkles and restore a youthful appearance. This jade massage tool features double-ended rollers that allow you to cover both broad and fine-detail areas effectively. | $12

Jade rollers are an easy addition to your skincare routine and can greatly benefit your skin and your well-being. There’s never enough time in the day to invest in yourself, but with jade rollers, it’s easy and fast. I can’t wait to see what you think! Jade rollers will soon be available on my website, so keep an eye out.

What is Dry Brushing?

You must try Dry Brushing. Your skin will feel amazing and your body will thank you too! Here's how to do it.

Dry brushing the skin really is as simple as it sounds—a firm, bristled brush is swept across the skin, from toe to head. It's called "dry" brushing because you do it before you bathe or shower when your skin and the brush are completely dry.

There are so many good things that come from the regular practice of dry brushing. It’s wonderful for exfoliating dry skin and unclogging pores. It helps detoxify by increasing blood circulation and promotes lymph flow/drainage. Dry brushing also stimulates your nervous system, leaving you feeling invigorated.

Want to experience these benefits? Here are our favorite tips for getting the most out of dry brushing:

  1. Pick the perfect brush. We actually have two favorites that we use: a handleless natural bristle brush for our arms and legs and torso (it comes with a hand strap for an easy grip) and a long-handled natural bristle brush for the back and backs of the thighs and other hard to reach spots. You can find brushes in the bath and beauty section of your favorite store. I like Target! Designate your brushes for dry brushing your skin only. You can rinse and dry your brushes after each use.

  2. Brush towards your heart. When you dry brush, use long, sweeping strokes in the direction of your heart to work with your body's lymph flow. The lymphatic system, found just under the skin, helps to rid your body of toxins and waste. We NEED this! So, start from your toes and make sweeping motions up your legs, and tummy, finally releasing the brushing as you near your heart, where a key lymph drainage point is found. When you are brushing your arms, start at the wrists and brush up towards the shoulder, then down from the collarbone to end near your heart.

  3. Follow up with an oil massage. Some people like to jump in the shower after dry brushing, but for a real treat to your skin, follow up dry brushing with a massage of warm coconut oil or sesame oil into the skin. You can warm the oil by placing the bottle in a sink of warm water or microwave for 10 seconds. Test to make sure it is warm to the touch, not hot. You can also warm oil quickly by rubbing it between your palms before applying.

Our skin is our largest and one of the most active organs in the body. Every minute old skin cells die and new ones are created. Brush your skin while standing on a dark towel and you will notice just how many flakes of old skin are removed! Dry brush your skin weekly for the best results. You can make this a weekly ritual, light a candle, turn down the lights and soak in a warm lavender bath. You'll be ready for the week ahead. Self-care feels so good!

Change the way you see yourself.

XOXO,

Tana Marie

Happy February, Beautiful. Because it’s Bachelor season and Valentine’s Day is coming up, we thought it would only be fitting to tell you all about rosewater. If you have never used rosewater before, but you’re curious to know more, keep reading!

Rosewater has many health benefits for your inner body and skin. It is made by distilling rose petals with steam. Because of it’s natural fragrance, some choose to use it in lieu of perfume. Roses are naturally high in vitamins, antioxidants, and healthy sugars, so the benefits of rose water can range from hydrating your skin to calming your hair’s frizzy attitude. Below are some of the most important benefits for your skin:

  1. Anti-inflammatory: This is one of the greatest benefits of rose water. The anti-inflammatory properties can help soothe the irritation of eczema or rosacea.

  2. Hydration: Well it is water but rose water can give your skin that extra boost of hydration in the morning. In addition, it can help reduce the oiliness of your skin.

  3. Defrizz & Strengthen Hair: Just like rosewater can hydrate your skin, it can hydrate your hair the hydrocarbons in the water help keep hair strong, healthy, and hydrated.

  4. Mood Booster: Yes girl. If you’re feeling down, spritz yourself with some rose water. Research has found links between mood stabilization and rose water. The extracts have light mood-enhancing benefits.

  5. High in Vitamin C: This vitamin aids in blemish treatment, cell recovery, UV protection, skin hydration, and wrinkle prevention.

Anxious to start using rose water in your daily routine? Here’s how you can incorporate it:

  1. Use it as an eye cleanser/soother

  2. Add it to your body lotion

  3. Add it to your conditioner

  4. Makeup remover

  5. Acne treatment, used with lemon juice, but be careful. A little bit of lemon juice goes a long way as it can sting acneic skin, so use sparingly and never apply to open lesions.

You can take advantage of the natural benefits of rose water in your daily skincare routine. Now, you’re an expert in rose water my divine goddesses.
